Learning how to live

Hello, Im Mell, Im 20 from Australia, Learning to live a healthy and fit lifestyle by trying new things and widening my horizons. I've had a really unhealthy relationship with food, weight, shape and exercise for years suffering with Anorexia.

I now live a life free of the wrath of my eating disorder and as my blog name Nuncvivit says in Latin, I'm learning to live again!

Dinner tonight ~ Chicken tenderloin cooked in minced ginger and lemon juice on a bed of coleslaw mix, alfalfa sprouts and red capsicum

I seriously want to yell FUCK YOU ANOREXIA as I eat my delicious homemade ‘sorbet’!

BIG ASS SALAD filled with baby spinach, roquette, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, carrot, cabbage (both red and white), red onion, apple, coriander and cottage cheese with Italian dressing! NOM NOM NOM

Uni work and snacking in style with a Chai tea and an apricot and peach muesli bar

Dinner: Homemade coleslaw made with ricotta instead of mayo, snowpeas, tomato, chicken seasoned with lemon juice, ginger, mixed spice and curry powder with some cheese sticks


Anorexia go die!

Natural Greek yoghurt with frozen berries and chocolate stevia drops. Dare I saw it was YUMMMMOOO

Dry roasted chickpeas and coffee with some milk in it

Nom, nom, nom!!! An entire punnet of grape tomatoes and a tub of Greek yoghurt eaten in the BEAUTIFUL Sydney sun!!!

Dinner this evening ~ Broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, capsicum, cucumber and chicken breast in SAUCE (it was a combination of tomato sauce and Asian oyster sauce, soy sauce and a touch of sea same oil)

Dinner: Green salad with lettuce, broccoli, asparagus, capsicum, red onion, cucumber with a ginger and corriander Basa spiced Basa fish fillet with some dressing I made myself. I made the dressing from greek yoghurt, mixed spice, curry powder, ginger and corriander

(Verrrry Late) Breakfast: Rice flake porridge made with almond milk with added sunflower seeds, rice bran sticks, pepitas and frozen raspberries

Afternoon snack/part of Lunch Green yoghurt with coconut essence and frozen raspberries

Evening snack: Spoon of natural peanut butter and plumb jam (I also had another one!!!)

Challenge time! I bought myself some Basa Fillets for a challenge. I think I’m going to cook them by baking them in the oven with some of the Basil from my garden because SCREW YOU ANOREXIA!

I really wanted to buy these today from Big W but I forgot my wallet so I will definitely have to venture back!!! They reminded me of Hannah (there-is-more2life) I saw something like this on her blog a little while ago and thought these are a must!!!

Super cold ~ I think a decaf coffee should improve things!
